Renaissance music concert as part of the “Di Parola in Musica” festival.
The wind ensemble ( cornet, flutes, bombard, ciaramello, dulciana) is certainly one of the most fascinating of all Renaissance music and allows us to explore a wonderful repertoire with sounds that the audience has hardly heard before and that surprise for their brilliance, volume and definition.
2021 will mark the 500th anniversary of the death of one of the greatest composers who ever lived, Josquin des Pres; as Luther said, ‘The other masters must do as the notes wish, but Josquin is the master of the notes, which they had to do as he wishes’. The concert will therefore focus on the figure and life story of the great composer.
