From a study on “Beauty and the Beast” by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont
With this show, Teatro Blu’s research work on the theme of diversity continues, highlighting its various aspects and hidden meanings, through the magical world of narrative theatre. This highly topical topic is addressed with poetry and proposed to children in a delicate way, transmitting the strong message of acceptance, knowledge and growth that comes from meeting those who are different from us. The show engages the audience through the narration of the story, its different characters, dance and singing. This ancient French fairy tale written by Madame Le Prince de Beaumont has been freely adapted for storytelling theater aimed at children.
